Hands on Core Java skill is a must (concurrency, Java 7 and 8)
Experience with DB2 or Sybase, and exposure to big data warehouse is a big plus.
Hands on with build and continuous integration tools (Ant, Gradle, Jenkins)
Hands on TDD practice using JUnit, Mockito, code coverage and other related tools
Unix/Linux/K-Shell, XML, Perl, Networking, Automation build, Autosys and application and database performance tuning
Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and XP
Exposures to Business Intelligence & Datawarehouse technology
Understanding of Financial Derivatives highly desirable
Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of project phases & milestones and be able to effectively
– 8+ years of technology experience preferably in the Financial Sector.
– Strong communication skills, comfortable working with senior management and operation desks
– Team player, must be able to collaborate across multiple operational areas
– Multi-tasking and time management skills are critical
– High level of attention to detail and accuracy
– Risk awareness, escalation and responsive attitude
– Proven trouble-shooting and problem solving skills
– Work well in a time sensitive environment
– Self-starter, who is willing to ask questions
